Practice Makes Perfect

Practice makes perfect and that's exactly what the Gore Pirates are doing this week. Here's a glimpse into the hard practices the Pirates have been putting in before the District Championship game.

1 District Game Left

Our Gore Pirates have been hard at work the past couple weeks. The Pirates lost to 2A Hartshorne, but came back ready to play this past friday night as they defeated Haileyville 79-0. Our very own Dylan Garrison scored a touchdown and completed two, two-point conversions!

The final district game of the 2012 Football Season will be held in Talihina this coming Friday at 7:30PM. This game will determine the District Standings. Therefore, if Gore is able to beat Talihina on Friday, we will be the District Champions again!

So bundle up and come prepared to cheer on your Gore Pirates to another District Championship!!!

Halfway Through District Play

Our Gore Pirates have made it halfway through their season and are well on their way to the playoffs. The Pirates were defeated by the Central Sallisaw Tigers; however, they have continued to play with heart and strive to succeed. Their efforts are not in vain as they defeated Canadian, Quinton and Savanna the past three weeks.

Tomorrow night our Gore Pirates will take on 2A Hartshorne at home. This will be the last guaranteed home game for our 2012 Pirates as well as Senior Night.
